New UFO Mufon Sighting Report, Stephenville, Texas, UFO Sketch Included

This was a broad daylight sighting from our home on the outskirts of Hamilton , Texas . Hamilton is located in the centre of Hamilton County adjacent to Stephenville Texas . This object was travelling from South to North toward Stephenville/Chalk Mountain. We are approximately 40 miles South of Stephenville.

I was out in the middle of the yard with our dogs at approximately 9 AM on a clear, cloudless day with unlimited and unobstructed visibility. I was alerted to look up by our Labrador bird dog frantically barking at the sky. There were no wings, no contrail, and no noise associated with this event. It appeared to be very high and very huge.

It would have taken a silver dollar at arms length to cover the object from fore to aft. It was travelling S. to N. at what appeared, from my perspective, a slow rate of flight. I first observed it at about the 10:00 position off the Southern Horizon and observed it to approx. the 2:00 position. Total elapse time was approx. 45 seconds.

I took my eyes off just long enough to shush the barking dog and when I looked back up... It had just disappeared. Other than our dogs, I personally know of no other witnesses to this event. In fact, I would be very interested to know and compare notes/thoughts with any other observers.

This was definitely not a helicopter, airplane, blimp, balloon, bird, etc. Although Hamilton Airport has no Radar capabilities, Ft. Hood @ Killeen and Waco Regional Airport should have seen something.

Lots of luck on getting anything from the military.

I seek no notoriety, publicity, remuneration, ...no nothing. In fact, I demand privacy and confidentiality. I have a low tolerance and much disdain for rednecks & idiots who refuse to accept reality and admit the truth.

Mystery over UFO sighting - Wrexham (Dec 25th 2007)

"They were travelling quite fast, about 10-12 seconds apart and were revolving. They were travelling too fast to be aircraft and they were completely silent."

A FLINTSHIRE man is looking for answers after seeing five unexplained lights in the sky on Christmas Day. Harry Hughes, of Grays Road , Mynydd Isa, was returning some extra chairs to the shed after enjoying Christmas dinner with his family at about 7.20pm.

He said: "I looked up and saw what looked like five bright orangey-red fireballs flying through the sky, coming from the Bodfari direction."

"They were travelling quite fast, about 10-12 seconds apart and were revolving. They were travelling too fast to be aircraft and they were completely silent."

Harry called to his wife Pam to look at the strange objects before they disappeared and as she followed him out to the garden, they began to change direction.

"They had been travelling west, but then they began to change direction one by one and started heading north. They were travelling at a high speed when they began to go north and were slanting upwards…….My wife saw the last two and she looked at them through binoculars. The last one, which was bigger than all the rest, stopped momentarily then shot upwards, following the others north……..The police helicopter travelled past our house about 10 minutes later. If it had been a bit earlier, then I'm sure police would have noticed these objects."

Mr Hughes says the objects were like those captured on camera near Wrexham earlier this year: Harry's description of the mysterious fireballs matches that of Leigh and Lynn Williams, of Borras, Wrexham, who caught sight of several strange orange orbs in the sky in July, and he said he believed they were similar. The couple also managed to take a video of the strange sighting, which was posted on the Evening Leader website and was the subject of much public debate. Some posters, and UFO experts who spoke to the Leader, felt the incident merited further investigation, while others dismissed the sighting as being the result of Chinese lanterns.

Speaking at the time, Lynn said: "There were seven lights flying fast over the house. Two of them were flying round each other. They were flying very close together, closer than planes. They were going so fast we couldn't focus on them."

Leigh added: "There was no noise whatsoever. Surely if they were aircraft there would have been lots of noise. My wife was panicking. We just want to know what it was. When they went over it happened so quick. They moved very smoothly and were glowing

Harry said: "I have no idea what these lights were, but I am really glad that I have seen something like this and I am glad my wife is able to verify that they were totally unexplained. I'll be looking out for more over the next few days."I'm just sorry we weren't able to get a picture or a video of them, but there wasn't enough time."

UFO Photographed in San Luis Valley, Colorado (Aug 20th, 2007)

UFO Photographed in San Luis Valley, Colorado (Aug 20th, 2007)

I have recently been in contact with someone who has a couple of rather bizarre images he captured recently. (Real name supplied.) I originally made contact with Belizeman when he posted a lnk to his image on UFOCasebook.com Forums. He also posted them to his Flickr account (Belizeman01)

Original images cropped and slight zoom.
San Luis Valley UFO

Belizeman01 says,

"On my Flickr site are other lights in the sky that I noticed and posted when I got back from vacation from August 20……..I find it very spooky that in three days I noted a half dozen "objects" taken only a few miles apart in San Luis Valley, Colorado. Ranchers tell me it's a radar dead zone because of the three mountain ranges surrounding the valley.

I was at the Zapata Falls lookout point, due east of the Watchtower, across the San Luis Valley. Zapata Falls is located about four miles south of Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado. <The object> maintained a steady course, speed similar to a commercial jet, until it was lost behind a mountain range north of the park.”

The two images were taken 2-3 seconds apart and Belizeman01 says that the camera never left his eye, adding that, “I often shoot off two or three shots rapidly to ensure a good photo, even when doing tripod work.”

Two UFO images animated with a lapse of 2.5 seconds.

The parallels between the image and a commercial aircraft are also something that has been considered, Belizeman01 is quick to point out that he too can see the similarities between his image and that of a commercial aircraft.

Image after being run through a couple of filters.

“Enlarge it less or check out my Flickr site, and more detail is seen. Rotating it a bit and the similarity to a plane is clear. Yet exam how the rudder is now broadside to the direction of flight. The nose appears to be flat; curved up slightly like a ski ramp. In addition, where's the other wing? This was not a damaged plane crashing to earth. I do wonder what the dark, haziness from the centre of the craft is? It looks like an exhaust plume to me, except it was travelling the opposite direction.”

Coast2Coast Fireball UFO

Coast2Coast Fireball UFO

In 1990 mid-summer I was repairing damaged fence line on my North forty in Broken Arrow OK. I usually camp at the site when I have large repairs to do. At about 2:00am my horses started running back and forth and the cattle began caterwauling. I thought coyotes had came for a calf.

Then the animals became dead silent; they didn't even move. It became completely silent, I couldn't hear anything. Then all of a sudden it became almost completely lit up like it was 9:00am, to the north. It looked like the sun was coming up.

I ran back to the camp and grabbed my camcorder and started filming. Please keep in mind that it was around 2:00am and the sun was many hours from rising. I panned the camera around and the look on my animals was strange. They look as if in a trance-- no reaction at all, almost as if they were in a state of shock. The fireball went higher and higher until out of sight. After it was gone, the animals went on as if nothing happened. I could not even guess how far away it was, it looked as if the sun decided to rise at 2:00am. From the time I first saw the light till it vanished was about 5 to 8 minutes.

I have had this video for some time now, but didn't want to bring any unwanted attention to myself. I have shortened up the video clip because of size but the look on the animal's faces gives me a chill to this day.

UFO Hoaxers And Their Toys

Meet Linn Murphy, a man with perhaps a little too much time on his hands? Linn Murphy has built himself a 3 foot wide reinforced foam flying saucer that’s remote controlled and can hit 40 mph thanks to a tiny electric motor.

This isn’t the first time a, “Hobbyist” has caught the attention of the unsuspecting public. So are they hoaxers, misunderstood, jokers or another name that it’s not really prudent to label them with!!

There is one aspect of these, “Boys with toys” that is perhaps worth delving deeper into, and that would be the sociological aspect and the effects of these sightings on the general public.

The recent flight of Linn Murphy's ring (!!) brought about some rather interesting reports, Orange County’s Mutual UFO Network took several calls about erratic, flying objects. The Web site UFOinfo.com was posting reports of “glowing orbs” in south Orange County.

And interestingly one 53-year-old man reported a large glowing ball that “appeared to drip fire.” It travelled about five miles in a few seconds, he said, and left an “acrid type odour” in the air.

Linn Murphy's ring is powered by a 7.4-volt lithium battery and basically is a foam toy with flashing lights that make it appear to spin. It is propeller driven and his most recent demonstration panicked unsuspecting shoppers, one of whom was a Mr Haywood Bagley, who apparently told his wife:

“I hope they don’t start shooting. If I go down, you get in the car, Baby!!”

Also soliciting such comments as:

“Oh my gosh, did you see it? There was a UFO bigger than my house!”

Lt. Rich Paddock, police chief for Aliso Viejo says:

“We’ve had strange calls – people reporting UFOs and strange sounds in the air. But they’re not doing anything illegal. There’s no ordinance that says it’s illegal to fly a super-double-secret, gyroscopic UFO in county airspace.”

I’m sure people can remember back on the 13th June, 2007 when a UFO was filmed over Salt Lake City, Utah which turned out to be a, “Hyper-Blimp.”

Daniel Geery, a local Utah resident was testing the “hyper blimp”, when he lost control of it. Again eye witness reports say it was up to a 100ft long, where as in actuality it was more like 20ft. He was apparently testing a new propeller which was a bigger drain on the battery than anticipated, resulting in the loss of control.

Here you can see some footage of the Blimp in action.

UFO Photographed 10th September 2007 – Rugby UK

UFO Report Rugby , Warwickshire, England. (10th September 2007)

Submitted to UFO Casebook by Geoff Pottle

The above image was submitted to UFOCasebook.com, with this accompanying email.

“This photo was taken at about 2.30pm on 10th September 2007 just out in my back garden. The weather was clear, warm and almost cloudless.

I was just really testing out how my digital camera would take the sun, and without really looking (more point and hope). (I did not at any point look directly into the sun for obvious reasons). Anyhow after transfering a couple of shots on the last picture I saw a shape in the bottom left of the image. Wasn`t sure if it was a plane or a satellite maybe?

Thank you.”

UFO Sighting – Bondad, Colorado – 24th July 2007 – Bright Light Buzzes Truck

UFO Sighting – Bondad, Colorado – 24th July 2007 – Bright Light Buzzes Truck

After a recent post in our UFO Forum I have been corresponding with the witness but this has slowed down lately, so I’m going to post this in the hopes that someone has had, or knows of someone who has had a similar experience.

----------------------------------------------------------

Date Of sighting 24th July 2007
Date Reported 25th July 2007

I need advice, really. I found this site through google, and I am hoping you all are serious about this UFO topic. I'm not sure I am in the right forum at this site, if not I'm sorry.

OK here is the deal, I commute between Aztec New Mexico and Durango Colorado. Last night I was coming home (from Durango toward Aztec), through a small nothing town called Bondad in Colorado, and there was something - that I have no explanation for. I drive a big Dodge 2500 Diesel truck, this truck is not affected by much. Something was off to the left in my field of view, right over top of a bluff, it was kind of bright, I thought at first it was maybe a bright light on top of an oil or gas rig. But suddenly it just shot backwards out of my sight, way too fast to be a plane, I mean it SHOT back out of sight, as in there one second, and gone the next, no way was this a plane.

So then I slowed down, quite a lot because I was a bit freaked out. I was slowing down from about 60 down to about 35, thinking what the hell was that thing.

About 10-seconds or so later I saw a bright light in my drivers side rear view mirror, almost looked like high-beams or something. I slowed down a bit more and then whatever that light was, shot right over my truck - so fast that the truck literally almost bounced - and like I said, nothing much can do that to a big 2500 truck, the thing shot over - super bright, it went over so fast that the truck felt like it went through a huge ditch (and there are no ditches on that road), it pushed my truck straight down - I assume wind pressure?? This thing went right over top, blinded me a bit and then it was WAY out in the sky, as in it went from being really close to being a small blip - and then it was gone - MAYBE 2 or 3 seconds went by. Way too fast to be anything man made as far as I know, and I spent 8-years in the Marines out in 29 Palms working with air to ground communications - I was one of those guys who told military jets where to drop ammo (I was a forward observer who called rounds down range) - trust me I have been around plenty of jets and this was NOT a jet - THERE WAS NO NOISE.

So I am really, confused and freaked out. I never took this UFO thing seriously - until now.

I was not able to determine any shape, the light was really way too bright.

All I know is this - it was fast and bright and it shook my truck. If I had to guess at how close this thing was to my truck, I would have to say about 100-yards or so up off the ground, it wasn't super close to me BUT it sure felt like it was. I checked my truck, no marks or anything like that (I was thinking maybe it had left a heat residual or something). I even smelled my truck to see if I could smell anything, maybe like a fuel smell, but there was no odor either. There were no other vehicles in sight at that time, as far as I know I was pretty much alone, no one in front coming toward and no one behind me.

SO I am left confused, and wondering - maybe this UFO thing is real. Maybe you folks can believe in this sort of thing easily - but I couldn't - not without proof, and I would now have to say - that's proof enough for me. Any ideas or similar experiences?? Sorry but I had no camera and even if I did have one there was no way I could have gotten any images of it - way too fast...

Last I knew, earth had an atmosphere, and anything ripping through that atmosphere made a considerable amount of noise, right?? There was no noise at all, I am telling you my windows were down and I would have heard something - but there was no noise and this is what puzzles me the most.

So any feedback would be great, any ideas, any explanations, I'm just mystified at this point.

----------------------------------------------------------

My first response

----------------------------------------------------------

Hi Durango and welcome to the forums, I would like to thank you for posting your account here. The reason I didn’t reply straight away is I sent you an email regarding your experience, but I felt that I should still reply to you post as you may not regularly check your emails.

Firstly while it is perfectly understandable for you to be freaked out, I really do appreciate your concerns but feel that I must stress that you shouldn’t fret or worry about your UFO sighting.

If you’ve came to this forum looking for a definitive answer as to what you’ve seen then I’m afraid you may be disappointed. These lights in the sky have been spotted by thousands and thousands of people over many, many years.

However. being, “Buzzed” by a UFO is a rare occurrence as the sightings are usually just limited to the lights in the sky. They are also mostly not accompanied by an audible craft noise or are too far away to discern this, and for a UFO to cause a sonic boom is unheard of.

In the Durango area, a UFO was spotted in October 2003 by a sound engineer. This made the news and was even reported in the Durango Herald. While this sighting was a different shaped UFO to the one you witnessed, and it certainly wasn’t as distressing as your experience. I feel it merits a mention due to the characteristics of propulsion; the witness is quoted as saying,

"It wasn't thermalling and didn't make a sound…….There was no heat distortion behind the end. I thought it had to be a military drone at one point but there was no contrail, no propulsion.”

I am not attempting to detract in any way from your personal UFO sighting, but I’m hoping I can allay your fears as you sounded a little upset in your original post.

And more recently in Colorado (2007-02-28) there is this report at the MUFON website which is certainly relevant to your sighting,

“I was driving in a van with my dad then all of a sudden a really bright star like not to high above maybe like 100 ft. and it beamed through the sky soo fast, nothing we humans have made can go that fast,me and my dad were shocked!I lost sight of the object because it was moving to fast.”

Finally, as recently as the 27th of June 2007 a witness reported a similar UFO in Colorado, the witness says that they, “Watched a very small light traveling fast south to north extreme altitude no blinking discernible, suddenly brighten then fade.”

I know this in no way goes towards answering any of your questions, but hopefully it does prove that you are not alone in your experience and hopefully may offer a little solace.

From your post,

"from Durango toward Aztec....Something was off to the left in my field of view.....shot backwards out of my sight....bright light in my drivers side rear view mirror......shot right over my truck....WAY out in the sky"

Does this mean when it shot over you and way out in the sky that it was travelling from North to South?

What kind of degree did the object rise at i.e. was it a sharp climb or a more gradual climb?

What colour (if any) was the light?

Personally I certainly believe that UFO’s exist and as such it is a phenomenon that demands more research. Regarding the craft ripping noiselessly through our atmosphere the theories as to the possible propulsion systems of UFO’s are many and varied.

Also, you may rest assured that you are certainly not the first person for whom the, “The proof of the pudding was in the eating!!”

So take care and I hope to hear from you soon.

----------------------------------------------------------

There were a couple more posts in the forum thread HERE. If you know of a similar sighting then please either leave a comment so I can contact you, email me at admin@ufo-blog.com, or post a comment in the forums thread, HERE. If you want to remain anonymous then please email me and discretion is guaranteed.

I don’t know if you’ve heard of, or visited Alienationsam.com. It is ran by, “Sam Willey” and he also has a radio show based on the subject of UFO’s.

Sam has had some excellent guests lately such as B.J. Booth (webmaster of UFOCasebook.com) and the illustrious Stanton Friedman, UFOlogist extraordinaire!!

Sam was kind enough to ask Mr Stanton Friedman if he knew of any similar occurrences to the Durango sighting, to listen to the clip then it is directly below this text.

UFOCasebook - Photographs of UFO Taken from Hot Air Balloon in U. K.

UFOCasebook.com recently reported and published three pictures along with the following account submitted from a reader in Cornwall (U.K.) (Taken 2006)

I was a passenger in a hot air balloon in Cornwall UK last year. The guy who owned the balloon got us quite high about 2000 ft. Well, it seemed quite high anyway. We were flying up over/near a place called Tintagel when one of the women noticed this object. It was slow to start with, kind of cruising but then took off really quick, it was gone in about two seconds after it sped up, if that.

No sound apart from when it shot off-then there was a basey thud/rumble noise which shook us all and we all gripped the side of the basket. It was a lovely sunny evening about 5 PM and was in last August. I would have reported it earlier, but I have no computer and have to use internet cafes.

Anyway It might be an airforce thing because there is an American base a few miles away call RAF St Mawgan.

Have a look at the photos and feel free to do what you want with them.

Additional info: The photographs were taken with my husband Canon SLR. It has a high speed motordrive on it and it went mad when I pushed the shutter down. He is a keen horse photographer and uses it when taking pictures of jumping horses. I'm almost sure it is an EOS camera. He is in Malta at the moment diving but I will ask him when he returns.

Best regards

Pat

These pictures are very impressive, in fact UFOCasebook has significantly, “Upped the stakes” recently, often getting much sought after exclusives as with the ongoing Drone UFO sightings. Their forums are also well worth a visit, they are friendly and well moderated and they too get their own fair share of exclusives!!

Just recently (July 4 th 2007 ) a new member called, “LaughingPoliceman” posted a truly stunning image of a UFO in what was already a very beautiful picture. Whether it's all it appears to be or not, this is truly a picture that deserves a proper look, you can view the full size picture and read the full post on the UFOCasebook.com forums.

Image from recent post at UFOCasebook.com forums.

The, “LaughingPoliceman” wrote:

“I'm soliciting opinions on this object, photographed by myself outside my home in Stafford (ST16 area) yesterday. Does anybody else in Stafford use these forums? Have you seen anything similar? It's very odd, but I'm not convinced it's extra terrestrial in origin. It just seemed so ...real. Well it would wouldn't it. Despite the weirdness of the object though, I'm skeptical. Maybe it does have a plausible explanation.”

Mother and daughter describe Tahoe UFO sighting

Mother and daughter describe Tahoe UFO sighting (Tahoe Daily Tribune)

Charles Sizemore and Jeff Munson ( jmunson@tahoedailytribune.com)
July 6, 2007

Dawn Raimond, a 41-year-old resident of Round Hill, saw something strange in the sky over Lake Tahoe from the deck of her home on the evening of June 19. According to Raimond, she was sitting outside on her deck at about 11:40 p.m. looking at the stars, when she noticed moving lights in the sky.

"The stars starting moving," she said.

The lights were arranged straight up and down, according to Raimond, and then started spreading out. Raimond called her daughter, Raven, 20, outside to witness the strange lights. As the lights came closer to their house, the women were able to make out a strange object with two lights.

"It wasn't an airplane," Raven said.

The dark, triangle-shaped object traveled very fast across the lake toward their home, and then slowed down as it approached her house, Dawn said. The object was completely silent, making no noise. The object came within about 500 feet of their house, according to Dawn, when it came to a stop above the trees. The lights then began getting wider and wider, and then starting fading, Dawn said.

"It disappeared right in front of our eyes," said Dawn.

Dawn isn't sure what the object was, but is sure it wasn't an airplane. People have suggested to her that it may have been an airplane from the Naval Air Station in Fallon, or that perhaps it was a stealth fighter, but Dawn isn't convinced.

"I know what they look like and (there's) no way it was that. It was much bigger than that," Dawn said. What she is sure of is that she saw the object, and that she wasn't seeing things. The Raimonds' sighting comes just over a year after South Lake Tahoe resident Allan Brown saw, and videotaped, a UFO over Lake Tahoe . As reported on June 16, 2006, in the Tahoe Daily Tribune, Brown videotaped an object "dancing in the sky" over the lake in the early morning hours last June.

The latest sighting also comes as people recognize the 60th anniversary of the events of July 8, 1947, in Roswell , N.M. , when personnel from the Roswell Army Airfield issued a press release that they had found the remnants of a "flying disc" that had crashed on a ranch nearby. It was later that day that the Air Force corrected the RAAF, saying that it had been a downed weather balloon that was found. Over 30 years later, Major Jesse Marcel, who had been involved with the incident near Roswell, came forward to say that he believed the US military had covered up the recovery of an alien spacecraft, thus sparking the controversy that lives on today as to what was actually found on that ranch near Roswell.

For more information on Allan Brown's sighting last year and to see his video, visit www.TahoeDailyTribune.com, and do a search for "UFO."

2002 SEALED AFFIDAVIT OF WALTER G. HAUT (Roswell Witness - June/July 2007)

2002 SEALED AFFIDAVIT OF WALTER G. HAUT (June/July 2007)

DATE: December 26, 2002
WITNESS: Chris Xxxxxx
NOTARY: Beverlee Morgan

(1) My name is Walter G. Haut

(2) I was born on June 2, 1922

(3) My address is 1405 W. 7th Street , Roswell , NM 88203

(4) I am retired.

(5) In July, 1947, I was stationed at the Roswell Army Air Base in Roswell , New Mexico , serving as the base Public Information Officer. I had spent the 4th of July weekend (Saturday, the 5th, and Sunday, the 6th) at my private residence about 10 miles north of the base, which was located south of town.

(6) I was aware that someone had reported the remains of a downed vehicle by midmorning after my return to duty at the base on Monday, July 7. I was aware that Major Jesse A. Marcel, head of intelligence, was sent by the base commander, Col. William Blanchard, to investigate.

(7) By late in the afternoon that same day, I would learn that additional civilian reports came in regarding a second site just north of Roswell . I would spend the better part of the day attending to my regular duties hearing little if anything more.

(8) On Tuesday morning, July 8, I would attend the regularly scheduled staff meeting at 7:30 a.m. Besides Blanchard, Marcel; CIC [Counterintelligence Corp] Capt. Sheridan Cavitt; Col. James I. Hopkins, the operations officer; Lt. Col. Ulysses S. Nero, the supply officer; and from Carswell AAF in Fort Worth, Texas, Blanchard's boss, Brig. Gen. Roger Ramey and his chief of staff, Col. Thomas J. Dubose were also in attendance. The main topic of discussion was reported by Marcel and Cavitt regarding an extensive debris field in Lincoln County approx. 75 miles NW of Roswell. A preliminary briefing was provided by Blanchard about the second site approx. 40 miles north of town. Samples of wreckage were passed around the table. It was unlike any material I had or have ever seen in my life. Pieces which resembled metal foil, paper thin yet extremely strong, and pieces with unusual markings along their length were handled from man to man, each voicing their opinion. No one was able to identify the crash debris.

(9) One of the main concerns discussed at the meeting was whether we should go public or not with the discovery. Gen. Ramey proposed a plan, which I believe originated from his bosses at the Pentagon. Attention needed to be diverted from the more important site north of town by acknowledging the other location. Too many civilians were already involved and the press already was informed. I was not completely informed how this would be accomplished.

(10) At approximately 9:30 a.m. Col. Blanchard phoned my office and dictated the press release of having in our possession a flying disc, coming from a ranch Northwest of Roswell, and Marcel flying the material to higher headquarters. I was to deliver the news release to radio stations KGFL and KSWS, and newspapers the Daily Record and the Morning Dispatch.

(11) By the time the news release hit the wire services, my office was inundated with phone calls from around the world. Messages stacked up on my desk, and rather than deal with the media concern, Col Blanchard suggested that I go home and "hide out."

(12) Before leaving the base, Col. Blanchard took me personally to Building 84 [AKA Hangar P-3], a B-29 hangar located on the east side of the tarmac. Upon first approaching the building, I observed that it was under heavy guard both outside and inside. Once inside, I was permitted from a safe distance to first observe the object just recovered north of town. It was approx. 12 to 15 feet in length, not quite as wide, about 6 feet high, and more of an egg shape. Lighting was poor, but its surface did appear metallic. No windows, portholes, wings, tail section, or landing gear were visible.

(13) Also from a distance, I was able to see a couple of bodies under a canvas tarpaulin. Only the heads extended beyond the covering, and I was not able to make out any features. The heads did appear larger than normal and the contour of the canvas suggested the size of a 10 year old child. At a later date in Blanchard's office, he would extend his arm about 4 feet above the floor to indicate the height.

(14) I was informed of a temporary morgue set up to accommodate the recovered bodies.

(15) I was informed that the wreckage was not "hot" (radioactive).

(16) Upon his return from Fort Worth , Major Marcel described to me taking pieces of the wreckage to Gen. Ramey's office and after returning from a map room, finding the remains of a weather balloon and radar kite substituted while he was out of the room. Marcel was very upset over this situation. We would not discuss it again.

(17) I would be allowed to make at least one visit to one of the recovery sites during the military cleanup. I would return to the base with some of the wreckage which I would display in my office.

(18) I was aware two separate teams would return to each site months later for periodic searches for any remaining evidence.

(19) I am convinced that what I personally observed was some type of craft and its crew from outer space.

(20) I have not been paid nor given anything of value to make this statement, and it is the truth to the best of my recollection.

The Entire 2007 Drone UFO Sightings, Reports And Images.

2007 DRONE REPORTS HISTORY (.PDF)
I was getting sick of constantly searching for already reported pieces of information regarding the Drone witnesses, chronology of sightings, photographs, time line, web site etc. etc.
So I decided to compile every 2007 Drone sighting, report and images gathered so far into an easily accessible PDF document.

The image sizes have been reduced to fit into this document and reduce download time, all of the original images may be viewed and saved by following the respective link in the Timeline History at the end of the document.

All except Rajman1977 who has since closed his Flikr account, so I’ve provided a download link to a file where these may be downloaded and viewed at their original size.

Please note that all of the documentation contained within is an exact representation of all of the original reports as they were made, including spelling mistakes etc.

Even if the reports are not everything that they claim to be, I am certainly becoming more intrigued with the increasingly revealing snippets of information which are slowly being released.

Add Big Basin To Wave Of Californian UFO Photographs

May 2007 - Wave Of Californian UFO Photographs

May 2007 has certainly been an interesting time for anybody who watches for reports of UFO sightings and related phenomena. So far there has been four different sets of photographs released from four different (allegedly) individuals in a matter of five weeks (I don't say, “Allegedly different” meaning that there is a general consensus that it's the same person. I merely say alleged because of the witness's failure to come forward means that this cannot be dismissed at this point.)

The, “Chad UFO”

First of we had, “Chad” who was based vaguely somewhere in Central California. It was originally sent to the Coast 2 Coast Website with the following explanation.

Last month (April 2007), my wife and I were on a walk when we noticed a very large, very strange "craft" in the sky. My wife took a picture with her cell phone camera (first photo below). A few days later a friend (and neighbor) lent me his camera and came with me to take photos of this "craft". We found it and took a number of very clear photos. Picture #4 is taken from right below this thing and I must give my friend credit as I was not brave enough to get close enough to take this picture myself! The craft is almost completely silent and moves very smoothly. It usually moves slowly until it decides to take off. Then it moves VERY quickly and is out of sight in the blink of an eye. MORE THAN ANYTHING I simply want to understand what this is and why it is here? We found your show with Google and I have listened for a few nights now. I have decided that if anyone can help me understand what this thing is, it is you and your audience. I must admit I am deeply unsettled by this thing. I have never seen anything like this in my life... Location: I would prefer not to say for now.

Chad wrote back with additional info:

Thank you so much for posting my photos! I hope someone can help identify this... First of all, I see this thing VERY often. Since it first appeared, I have probably seen this thing maybe 8 different times since the first appearance. My friend and I went out the next day after I first saw it to get the photos, but it was not there. Then we tried again the next day, and we found it within like 30 minutes and followed it for a while. Most of the time I see it out of windows in my house, in the distance. but I would say almost half of the hikes I have gone on in my area, I have seen it very close. It is very easy to photograph and...many neighbors aside from my friend have also seen it. It is almost totally silent but not quite. It makes kind of "crackling" noises. It's hard to describe them but they are only intermittent and not very loud, but you can notice them. Sometimes there is a very slight hum that sounds kind of mechanical, almost like when you are near very large power lines. But it is nothing loud like a jet engine, it is very quiet for the most part. It moves almost like an insect. If you have ever seen a bug on a pond, it is kind of like that. It is VERY smooth and slow most of the time, but then every now and then it will rotate very quickly and go VERY fast into another direction, then stop, and repeat the process all over again. There is just something very unnatural about the way it moves. Also, I have had maybe 4 headaches in the last week, and I am normally not the kind of person who really ever gets them. Also my wife has been tired and fatigued lately. She is about a month pregnant, and the doctor said fatigue is normal around this time, but I worry that it is a lot. Basically what I'm worried is that this "craft" has got some kind of radiation or something. Like I said, it sounds like power lines if you get close enough to it. Obviously I am worried for our health, especially with a baby on the way. I don’t know if they are related, but again, this is why I really hope someone can answer these questions!

The photographs were either taken in the late April or on May 6th, this is still being investigated.

There were 6 photos in all and they were submitted via a scan. A lot of people claimed it as a hoax straight away due to the meta tags pointing to the use of the photo editing/manipulation software made famous by Adobe. But it quickly transpired that these were generated when Coast 2 Coast resized the pictures for use on their website.

The, “Lake Tahoe UFO”

This was the second sighting and was reported to MUFON by, “MUFON Submitter 7013”. There were two photos taken with a camera phone and were posted to MUFON on, May 5, 2007. There were again from California and the statement was as follows.

"My husband and I were in Lake Tahoe over the weekend. We left on Friday afternoon and came back Monday morning. On Saturday at about 7 PM, I was walking out to my car to get a sweater when I saw this thing in the sky. It was pretty close I think, but still above the trees. It was moving and spinning slowly, heading towards my right.

"I was startled and confused at first and wanted to take a picture, but our camera was still inside so I took two pictures with my camera phone before it passed behind the roof of the house."

"I ran around to the other side and was yelling to my husband to come out. We came around the other side and saw it just as it was going down behind some trees. He didn't get a good look at it, but he saw enough to convince him that it was something really strange.

"We decided to take a drive around the area to see if we could see it again, but we never did. We didn't see it the next day either. Since we were renting the cabin for the weekend we didn't know any nearby residents but I would bet at least a few other people saw it. It was very visible and very strange looking. I was definitely a little freaked out but my husband didn't seem very bothered by it. He was more interested in it than scared.

He wanted to drive around a lot longer trying to find it than I did! It didn't make any noise except for a very, very faint sound that is hard to describe but sounded like something vibrating. We both heard the sound although just barely. It moved in a very straight line when it went over the house but when we saw it on the other side of the house, when it was going down behind the trees, it made a very sharp turn. It didn't move like a helicopter or airplane, it was very "exact".

We did see one person on our drive who was a few blocks away taking a walk and asked him if he saw it, and he said no. Then we asked him if he heard any weird noise and tried to describe it as best we could, and he said he might have but he wasn't sure. By this time it was at least 20 minutes since we first saw the thing so who knows?”

The, “Capitola UFO”

Capitola, California, photographed May16th 2007 and this time instead of a mainstream UFO website, the six photographs were instead posted to a newly formed Flikr account. The account name was, “Rajman1977.” Allegedly the posters real name was, “Rajinder Satyanarayana.”

Open Minds forum invited Rajman1977 to their forums and he accepted but disappeared after only a couple of posts. And after his Flikr account was upgraded to the pro version by one of the Forum members it was quickly hacked and several porn images and links were uploaded. The account was subsequently closed and no one has heard from him since. His accompanying report was as follows.

"This week I was visting my fiance's parents in Capitola (we were actually there to tell them about our engagement, in fact). We were eating dinner on the back porch when we noticed this "object" sort of hovering in the sky. The camera was still out from earlier so I grabbed it and tried to get some clear shots of it. It took off over the roof shortly after, so I ran into the street in front of the house to follow, trying to get more shots without wobbling around too much (which was harder than it sounds). It then came in lower over a telephone pole, where I was able to get a few more pictures, before it finally took off into the distance pretty fast. I thought it was gone but noticed it was still visible, so I grabbed a few more pictures.

At one point a car stopped to look as well. No one had any idea what this thing was, but everyone in the car was visibly freaked out by it. Once it was gone they told me to call the news and drove off. :) I'm not sure who else saw it in the neighborhood since I don't live down there, but I'm sure at least a few others must have noticed it. It was way too werid and way too close to go unnoticed. Once it was gone and I caught my breath I could barely stop my hands from shaking for the next hour or so. Needless to say, this is all we talked about for the rest of the night. None of us can figure out what it was (and that's saying something, because my fiance's dad is a mechanical engineer).

We sent a copy of the photos to their newspaper but haven't heard back yet. I dunno how long that kind of thing takes. There's also some writing on this thing, which I didn't recognize (and I read both English and Hindi). You can see it in a few of the pictures. Anyway, I created this Flickr account for the best of these pictures. I have no clue what this thing is so I'm putting it out there to see if anyone else saw it."

The Open Minds Forum also questioned him about which media company or outlet he contacted but Rajman1977 never offered an answer.

The, “Big Basin UFO”

This time June 5th 2007 and the craft is photographed again, this time it has evolved massively!! It was originally posted to a private bulletin board and one of the admin contacted UfoCasebook.com with this email,

"Hi!

(I found a number of email addresses and was not sure which you checked most, so I just played it safe and sent to all of them. I hope this is okay.

My name is Jenna and I participate in a listserv for photographers in Saratoga, CA. Today a member named Stephen posted some pictures he took yesterday (the 5th) for a class assignment in the area around Big Basin. The pictures very clearly depict some kind of large object in the sky, and he was able to get two clear shots and one out-of-focus shot before it apparently disappeared. I recognized certain details on this object immediately because a friend had sent me your About.com article on different UFOs that have appeared recently with a similar appearance.

Now, I should mention that this is a private listserv for a very close-knit group. I have met almost everyone that participates in person and I have met Stephen in particular many times, so I take his word seriously.

We have been discussing it for the last couple of hours and I suggested we start by sending pictures to your web site since you clearly have some familiarity with this situation so far. Unfortunately I'm not a moderator of this listserv and can't give you access, but I can send you copies of the discussion as it develops if you would like to stay abreast. Let me know.

Stephen has given me permission to contact you with his photos and information and you may email him directly if you wish. We don't have any special need for anonymity on this matter and if you would like to post this email along with the photos you may do so. I would be interested in hearing from the other photographers of this kind of craft in particular and seeing what this is all about! The following is his first listserv email which was sent earlier this afternoon:

'Stephen 06/06/2007 14:42:31 PST

“Hey guys

okay, where to begin -- yesterday I was up around big basin for my assignment like I've been mentioning for the last couple weeks -- the theme for those that don't remember was photographing something at a small scale against a large scale backdrop to contrast scales and to play with depth of field etc -- I chose to photograph a couple of flower/weed things growing right on the edge of a drop off with the valley in the background -- I'm still using the rebel xt I bought off mark which is slr so I'm looking at everything through a viewfinder when I notice something _appear_ in the distance, like just pop out of nowhere --

I look up and there is this _huge_ who-knows-what-the-xxx _floating_ in the distance and rotating very slowly and jerkily (is that a word lol) -- almost by reflex I take another shot which is focused in on it this time and go to stand up but practically fall over because I cant even think straight --

I was able to get one more shot which came out kind of blurred and then the thing _vanished_ -- like, as in, now you see it now you don't -- I attached the pictures so you guys can check them out before I really decide to do something with them -- are these going to the 6 o'clock news or what -- any feedback would be great before i make a major decision here -- also btw I attached three pictures the first is when it _first_ appeared right as I was taking a shot of the flowers but I wanted you guys to see everything i saw -- sorry I only got 3 pix but this thing was seriously gone in like a matter of secs

also btw -- I am planning to return to the area this weekend with the camera and anyone else who wants to join me -- I'm seriously going to spend all day hiking around to see if it shows up again if it does I am going to get a million shots of this thing if it does -- you seriously have to see it to even believe it so _anyone_ who wants to come me let me know -- the more people that see this the better because I don't even need to tell you that so far this is a pretty crazy situation and I want some witnesses to back me up”

For all the vast majority of people are screaming hoax there is a little bit of history attached to these objects, first of all way back in 1999 a photograph was submitted to UfOEvidence.org. The original photo is on the left but I’ve rotated it and blew it up a little so that you can see it has indeed some similarities to the recent wave of UFO sightings in California.

Source: UfoEvidence.org

And secondly we have a more recent one which again is remarkably similar the recent sightings except it has a lot fewer appendages. This was photographed in Birmingham, Alabama in 2006.

It's certainly intriguing!!

I personally believe they are man-made, the fact that the craft has text on them that is obviously a bastardized foreign language or a morphed sci-fi one is testament in itself. It still doesn't stop me being intrigued by the motivations of the original posters.

I have a great deal of difficulty believing that it is just a viral marketing campaign as has been suggested. And I must admit to being amazed at what people with a knowledge of 3D software packages have been able to create within a couple of days or so. Here's one of the better ones from YouTube,

(DON'T GET CONFUSED THIS IS 100% CGI!!)

You can see the kind of interest this has generated on the internet, so it's very strange that nobody from the media has picked up on it or more likely the media are just ignoring it. Is this because they are well aware of what can be created with, “Off the shelf software” or is there another agenda? Puzzling as they all jumped on board with the, “O'Hare Airport UFO sighting – Nov 7 th 2006” and again with, “Guernsey Pilot Spots UFO – April 23 rd 2007.”

For all this is widely perceived as a hoax I'm still looking forward to the truth coming out and I think the full experience will still prove to be something a landmark case in the field of UFO research, even if it is for all of the wrong reasons. You can't help but feel as though it's all some sort of test, with each witness and sighting offering a little more information and detail, or is it just offering enough rope to hang themselves with?

There are many unanswered questions and many investigations currently underway, so hopefully some sort of truth should be imminent. But until the true identities of Chad & co. is finally revealed I believe that their sightings, reasoning and motivations will provide much speculation & discussion on the UFO subject and the more people that get interested and start asking questions as a result of these craft then the more chance we may have of getting some concrete answers.

Buenos Aries UFO Sighting Hoaxed - UFODigest Solved – Metal Gear Ray UFO!!

The alleged UFO sighting was Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 2, 2007 at around 5 p.m. (local time). It was reported to UFODigest by Gaston Damian Martinez.

UFODigest ran with the story, putting it out on the internet to see what other people thought of it. This resulted in a mass of emails to UFODigest, examining the photos, questioning the authenticity and as per usual proffering, “Photoshop” as the most likely culprit.

Metal Gear Solid: Before long, UFODigest.com was informed by a reader that MUFON director, James Carrion posted a report on the MUFON message board stating that the UFO was no more than a toy or model based on the popular video game, “Metal Gear Solid”.

Metal Gear Ray: Basically, Metal Gear is the name for a series of fictional mecha in the Metal Gear Solid series of video games. While each game has a new Metal Gear with a different role, they are typically autonomous nuclear launch platforms. The Metal Gear RAY model was designed as a counter measure of all the Metal Gear variations around the world.

Metal Gear RAY, designed by Yoji Shinkawa, was first introduced in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, but was initially previewed as an image in Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions (released before MGS2), once the game had been completed. Also in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, a miniature model of the Metal Gear RAY can be seen when Snake is talking to Granin in his office.

The main bone of contention was the three little circular symbols and the writing, which as you can see by the comparison below is identical in both where it's situated and the actual content.
UFODigest comparison with Metal Gear Solid
(Photgraphed UFO is on bottom of picture)

Occam's Razor Strikes Again!! Occam's razor is basically a theory that purports, “The explanation of any phenomenon should make as few assumptions as possible,” or alternatively, “All things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be the best one.” and it is in this sense that Occam's razor is usually understood.

And with regards to the UFO and in light of the new evidence it means that Gaston or his accomplices must have simply threw the object into the air and photographed it. This act in itself was enough to fool the majority of people who it seems are looking for increasingly complex methods of how the image was faked.

It seems that as the interest of the public in the UFO phenomenon is matched and often exceeded by fraudulent hoaxers who have nothing better to do with their time than to create and release these alleged pictures of UFO's.

Riding On The Coat Tails Of Serious UFO Investigations: If anything this entire episode should (and hopefully will> serve as a warning to all UFOlogists and people in general who are currently researching, investigating or are merely interested in UFO's to be on their guard. Because for every serious UFOlogist out there, it appears that there are a greater number of these misinformed, misdirected, small-minded time wasters who do absolutely nothing to further the study of UFO's and whose ultimate goal it seems is to add a little excitement to their lives.

Chad – Coast To Coast UFO Pictures Update. The Plot Thickens!! (Capitola UFO Pictures)

First the O'Hare Airport, then Guernsey Pilot spots UFO, then Coast To Coast and Chad, then a similar UFO sighting at Lake Tahoe, and now we have yet another incredibly similar UFO at Capitola, courtesy of, “Rajman1977” (Flickr I.D).

Bizarre UFO in Sky

rajman1977 explains that he was visiting his fiancés parents in Capitola. Then while eating dinner back porch they noticed the UFO sort of hovering in the sky, before it finally took off into the distance pretty fast. Adding that, “At one point a car stopped to look as well.” And nobody could figure it out and present was a mechanical engineer.

So after sending a copy to the local paper he uploaded the others to a ,”New” Flickr account. Visit rajman1977's account and view the photos.

Remarkable coincidences? Or maybes the beginning of the end for the UFO debunkers?
